  • small saucepan
  • Silicone Gummy Molds
  • Small bowl

Ingredients

  • 1 cup strongly brewed, cooled cinnamon herbal tea (or Fireball Whiskey)
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • 2 tbsp gelatin powder
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar for coating
  • additional ground cinnamon for coating, to taste

Instructions

  • Combine cooled cinnamon tea (or Fireball Whiskey!) and cold water in a small saucepan over low heat. Stir until heated through. Avoid boiling.
  • Gradually sprinkle gelatin powder into the warm liquid, stirring constantly until completely dissolved.
  • Add 1/4 cup granulated sugar and 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon. Stir until sugar is dissolved.
  • Remove from heat and let cool for 2-3 minutes.
  • Pour mixture into silicone gummy molds. Refrigerate for at least 2-3 hours, or overnight.
  • Remove gummies from molds. Combine 1/4 cup granulated sugar with additional ground cinnamon in a small bowl. Roll each gummy in the mixture until coated.
  • Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Notes

Experiment with different herbal teas, add cayenne pepper for extra heat, or citrus zest. Add more sugar for a sweeter gummy.
