Equipment

  • Large mixing bowl
  • Hand mixer
  • Spatula
  • Shot Glasses or Small Serving Glasses

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup heavy cream chilled
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tsp peppermint extract
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup crushed peppermint candies or candy canes
  • 1/4 cup chocolate syrup for drizzling inside glasses
  • whipped cream for topping
  • additional crushed peppermint candies for garnish

Instructions

  • Step 1: In a large mixing bowl, combine heavy cream, sweetened condensed milk, peppermint extract, and vanilla extract. Use a hand mixer on medium speed to whip until soft peaks form, about 3–5 minutes.
  • Step 2: Gently fold in the crushed peppermint candies with a spatula to evenly distribute without deflating the mixture.
  • Step 3: Drizzle chocolate syrup inside the shot glasses, swirling to create decorative patterns.
  • Step 4: Spoon the peppermint cream mixture into each glass, filling about three-quarters full.
  • Step 5: Top each shot with whipped cream and sprinkle additional crushed peppermint candies for garnish.
  • Step 6: Chill the shots in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving to let flavors meld and the mixture firm up.

Notes

For a vegan version, substitute coconut cream and dairy-free whipped topping. Adults can add a splash of peppermint schnapps for a spirited twist. These shots keep refrigerated for 2–3 days but are best enjoyed fresh. Crush candies just before folding in to maintain crunch.
