Equipment

  • Large Pitcher

Ingredients

  • 2 cups pink lemonade
  • 2 cups pineapple juice
  • 1 cup cranberry juice
  • 1 cup sparkling water or soda use lemon-lime soda for a sweeter touch or plain sparkling water for a less sweet, more refreshing fizz
  • 0.5 cup light rum optional
  • ice cubes for serving
  • fresh fruit slices for garnish (pineapple, orange, or cherries)

Instructions

  • Step 1: In a large pitcher, combine pink lemonade, pineapple juice, and cranberry juice. If making for adults, add the light rum now. Stir well to combine the flavors.
  • Step 2: Add a generous amount of ice to the pitcher and stir well to chill the mixture thoroughly.
  • Step 3: Just before serving, pour in the sparkling water or soda. Stir gently to incorporate without losing the fizz.
  • Step 4: Garnish the punch with fresh fruit slices (such as pineapple, orange, or cherries). Ladle into individual glasses filled with fresh ice and serve immediately.

Notes

Substitutions & Additions: Feel free to customize! Swap cranberry juice for white grape, cherry, or mango juice. For fizz, try ginger ale or lemon-lime soda, or sparkling wine/prosecco for an adult version. Other alcoholic options include vodka, gin, or tequila blanco. Enhance with sliced strawberries, raspberries, lime wheels, or fresh mint. For an icy treat, freeze some base juice into cubes and blend. To make it kid-friendly, simply omit the rum.
Tips for Success: For the coldest, most refreshing punch, ensure all your juices are well-chilled before mixing. Always add sparkling water or soda right before serving to maintain maximum fizz. Consider making an ice ring (freezing pink lemonade with fruit/flowers in a bundt pan) to keep the punch cold without over-diluting. Taste and adjust sweetness or tartness to your liking. This recipe is easily scalable for larger crowds.
Storage: The juice and rum (if using) base can be prepared up to 2-3 days in advance and stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Add fizz and fresh garnishes just before serving. Leftover punch with sparkling water added will lose its fizz but can be stored in the fridge for up to 24 hours.
