Patriotic Flag Fruit Dessert

This easy Flag Fruit Dessert is a festive and delicious treat for any gathering. It's ready in under 15 minutes and requires no baking.

  • Large platter or shallow bowl
  • Small bowl For blueberries

  • 5 cups red fresh fruit (cherries, strawberries, raspberries) Mix for color and texture
  • 2 cups blueberries Plump ones
  • 3 cups yogurt OR white chocolate-covered pretzels Yogurt for lighter option, pretzels for salty-sweet contrast

Instructions
 

  • Wash and thoroughly dry your fresh fruit.
  • Arrange your red fruit (cherries halved, strawberries sliced, raspberries whole) on a large platter or in a shallow bowl to create the stripes of the American flag. Alternate colors and shapes.
  • Place a small bowl of blueberries in the upper left corner.
  • Optional: If using yogurt, spoon it generously around the fruit. If using pretzels, artfully arrange them amongst the fruit.

Notes

Best served fresh, leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Fruit might soften slightly.
