Equipment

  • Large skillet
  • Oven or Air Fryer
  • small saucepan

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast cubed or sliced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan garlic sauce store-bought or homemade
  • 1 bag frozen crinkle-cut fries about 16 oz or 450 g
  • 4 pieces flour tortillas burrito size
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup white queso sauce warmed

Instructions

  • Step 1: Cut chicken breasts into evenly sized cubes or strips. Prepare frozen crinkle-cut fries according to package instructions in oven or air fryer until crispy and golden.
  • Step 2: Heat 2 tablespoons butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season chicken with salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder. Cook chicken, stirring frequently, for 8–10 minutes until golden and fully cooked (internal temperature 165°F/74°C).
  • Step 3: Pour in Parmesan garlic sauce over cooked chicken. Stir well to coat all pieces. Remove skillet from heat and let flavors meld.
  • Step 4: Warm flour tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave until soft and pliable. Heat white queso sauce in a small saucepan or microwave until smooth and warm.
  • Step 5: Lay each warmed tortilla flat. Layer with shredded mozzarella cheese, a portion of crispy fries, sauced chicken, and drizzle warm white queso sauce over the top.
  • Step 6: Fold sides of the tortilla in and roll tightly from bottom up to enclose filling completely. Heat a skillet over medium heat and place burritos seam-side down. Cook 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.
  • Step 7: Remove burritos from skillet and let rest 1–2 minutes before serving to allow filling to settle. Serve immediately for best texture and flavor.

Notes

Use grilled or rotisserie chicken as a shortcut. Swap fries for sweet potato or waffle fries for variation. Add sautéed veggies or jalapeños for extra flavor and heat. Store wrapped burritos in fridge up to 3-4 days or freeze up to 2 months.
