Equipment

  • Large baking sheet
  • Parchment paper
  • Large bowl
  • Microwave-safe bowl
  • Spatula

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 14 pieces golden cookies broken into bite-sized pieces; e.g. Golden Oreos
  • 1.5 cups pretzel sticks broken into pieces
  • 1 lb vanilla candy coating or white melting wafers
  • 1 cup Easter M&M’s divided
  • 2-3 tbsp pastel sprinkles optional

Instructions

  • Step 1: Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup and to prevent sticking.
  • Step 2: In a large bowl, combine broken golden cookies and broken pretzel sticks. Spread the mixture evenly on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Step 3: Sprinkle about three-quarters of a cup of Easter M&M’s evenly over the cookie and pretzel layer.
  • Step 4: Melt the vanilla candy coating or white melting wafers in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring well after each, until smooth and melted.
  • Step 5: Pour the melted candy coating over the cookie and pretzel mixture. Spread evenly with a spatula, allowing some texture to show through.
  • Step 6: Quickly sprinkle the remaining Easter M&M’s and pastel sprinkles on top, pressing gently so they stick but don’t sink.
  • Step 7: Let the bark set at room temperature or refrigerate for 15–20 minutes until firm and solid to touch.
  • Step 8: Lift the parchment paper and break the bark into irregular pieces. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

Customize by swapping golden cookies for graham crackers or gluten-free cookies. Use mini pretzels or rods for different texture. Add nuts or use chocolate melts for a twist.
