Instructions
Step 1: In a large mixing bowl, combine the crushed Butterfinger candy bars, graham cracker crumbs, cocoa powder, and powdered sugar. Mix well until everything is combined.
Step 2: Pour the melted butter into the dry mixture and stir until everything is evenly coated and forms a crumbly mixture.
Step 3: Line an 8x8 inch baking dish with parchment paper. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of the dish to create an even layer.
Step 4: In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine the sweetened condensed milk, chocolate chips, and peanut butter. Stir continuously until the mixture is smooth and fully melted.
Step 5: Carefully pour the chocolate-peanut butter mixture over the graham cracker base, spreading it evenly with a spatula.
Step 6: Drizzle caramel sauce over the top of the chocolate layer. Use a knife or toothpick to swirl the caramel into the chocolate slightly for a lovely marbled effect.
Step 7: Refrigerate for at least 2-3 hours, or until set.
Step 8: Once set, remove from the refrigerator and cut into bars. If desired, sprinkle a pinch of sea salt on top before serving.
Notes
These bars are best stored in the refrigerator. They can last up to a week, but I have a feeling they will be gone much sooner! Just make sure they are kept in an airtight container to maintain their freshness.
