Loaded Cheeseburger Alfredo Pasta

This recipe captures the comforting, cheesy goodness of a cheeseburger in a surprisingly easy and unbelievably delicious pasta dish. It's quick enough for a weeknight meal, yet satisfying enough for a weekend treat!
Cook Time 20 minutes

Equipment

  • Large skillet

Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef I prefer 80/20 for best flavor
  • 4 slices turkey bacon cooked and crumbled (for a lighter take on the classic)
  • 2 cups penne pasta cooked al dente (don't overcook!)
  • 1 cup Alfredo sauce store-bought is perfectly fine!
  • 0.5 cup shredded cheddar cheese sharp cheddar is my favorite
  • 0.25 cup chopped pickles optional, but they add a delightful tang!
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Cook the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat until browned, about 6–8 minutes. Break it up with a spoon as it cooks for even browning. Drain off any excess grease.
  • Add the crumbled turkey bacon to the skillet. Stir in the cooked penne pasta and Alfredo sauce; mix everything together until well combined. This is where the magic happens!
  • Add the shredded cheddar cheese; stir until it's melted and the sauce is creamy and smooth. I like to let it sit for a minute or two to fully melt and thicken.
  • Fold in the chopped pickles (if using). Pickles are optional, but they really elevate the cheeseburger flavor profile.
  • Season generously with salt and pepper to taste. Taste as you go, and adjust the seasoning to your preference.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy the cheeseburger pasta bliss!

Notes

Feel free to experiment! Substitute ground turkey or chicken for the beef for a leaner option. You can also use different types of bacon or even add some crispy onions for extra crunch. A sprinkle of fresh parsley adds a pop of color and freshness. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat gently in the microwave or on the stovetop.
