Equipment

  • Baking sheet Line with parchment paper
  • Pastry brush or fingers For brushing olive oil and garlic
  • Small saucepan or microwave For making hot honey sauce

Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 2 flatbreads (naan or store-bought pizza crusts) I love using naan because it's already soft and flavorful!
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil Adds a lovely richness.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced The aromatic base of our delicious sauce.
  • 1.5 cups shredded mozzarella cheese The classic melty goodness.
  • 0.25 cup grated Parmesan cheese Adds a salty, sharp bite.
  • 0.5 teaspoon red pepper flakes For a little kick! (optional)
  • Fresh basil or parsley, for garnish Adds a pop of freshness and color.
  • 0.25 cup honey The sweet element that balances the heat.
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons hot sauce Choose your favorite! I like Frank's RedHot.
  • Pinch of chili flakes For extra heat (use sparingly!). (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Brush your flatbreads with a mixture of olive oil and minced garlic.
  • Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese over each flatbread. Add red pepper flakes if desired.
  • Bake for 8–10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and the crust is golden brown.
  • Combine honey and hot sauce in a small saucepan over low heat, or microwave for 30 seconds at a time, stirring until warm and combined. Stir in chili flakes if desired.
  • Drizzle pizzas with hot honey sauce.
  • Garnish with fresh basil or parsley.
  • Slice and serve immediately.

Notes

Feel free to get creative! Try different cheeses, add cooked sausage, bacon, or caramelized onions. Use different types of hot sauce for varying levels of heat. Don't overcrowd the baking sheet. For extra crispy flatbreads, pre-bake them before adding cheese. Prep ahead: mince garlic and make hot honey sauce earlier in the day. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat gently in the microwave or oven.
