- 2/3 cup mango peach juice any good quality mango peach blend
- 1/2 cup peach sparkling water plain or another fruit flavor works too; clear soda like ginger ale, lemon-lime soda, or club soda can also be used
- 1 scoop rainbow sherbet orange, lime, raspberry, or pineapple sherbet, or vanilla ice cream can be substituted
- ice cubes as needed, for chilling
Step 1: Grab your favorite glass. Fill the glass with ice cubes. Carefully pour in the mango peach juice over the ice.
Step 2: Gently add the peach sparkling water. Give it a quick, gentle stir with a spoon to blend the liquids without deflating the bubbles.
Step 3: Carefully place a generous scoop of rainbow sherbet right on top of your mixed juice. Watch as it slowly melts, creating a beautiful, swirly, cloudy effect. Serve immediately.
This recipe yields one glass. To make a large batch for a party, scale up the ingredients and mix the juice and sparkling water in a large pitcher or punch bowl, then add scoops of sherbet to individual glasses as you serve them.
Substitutions & Additions: Try orange, pineapple, or mixed berry juice. Any clear soda like ginger ale, lemon-lime soda, or club soda works in place of sparkling water. For the sherbet, use orange, lime, raspberry, or even pineapple sherbet, or vanilla ice cream for a creamier punch. For a grown-up version, add a splash of vodka, white rum, or a fruit-flavored liqueur like peach schnapps.
Garnish Galore: Elevate your punch with fresh peach slices, raspberries, mint leaves, or a fun, colorful straw.
Tips for Success: For the best, most refreshing punch, make sure your juice and sparkling water are well-chilled before you start. Stir gently to keep as much fizz as possible. This punch is best enjoyed immediately after adding the sherbet. Use plenty of ice, as large ice cubes melt slower than small ones, keeping your drink colder longer.
Storage: This punch is best enjoyed fresh. You can pre-mix the mango peach juice and peach sparkling water up to 24 hours ahead and keep it chilled in the refrigerator, but do not add the sherbet until you are ready to serve. If you have any leftovers after the sherbet has melted, store them in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 24 hours; it will still be delicious, but won't have the same magical foaminess.
