Ingredients
  

Pecan Pie Balls

  • 1 cup pecans, finely chopped
  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup corn syrup
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • to taste optional additional powdered sugar for rolling

Instructions
 

  • Step 1: In a large mixing bowl, combine the finely chopped pecans, graham cracker crumbs, powdered sugar, cocoa powder, corn syrup, softened butter, vanilla extract, and salt.
  • Step 2: Mix all the ingredients together until well combined and a dough forms.
  • Step 3: Using your hands, roll the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
  • Step 4: If desired, roll each ball in additional powdered sugar to coat.
  • Step 5: Place the pecan pie balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Step 6: Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the balls to firm up.
  • Step 7: Serve chilled or at room temperature. Enjoy!
