  • Step 2: Spread the apple pie filling evenly in a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  • Step 3: Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the apple filling. Do not stir.
  • Step 4: Drizzle the melted butter evenly over the cake mix in thin streams.
  • Step 5: Bake for approximately 45 minutes until the top is golden and crisp and filling bubbles around the edges.
  • Step 6: Let cool for 10-15 minutes before serving to allow juices to settle.
