Equipment

  • Blender
  • Serving Glasses
  • Lime Wedge
  • Shallow Plate

Ingredients

  • 3 cups frozen peach slices
  • 2 cups ice
  • 6 oz silver tequila
  • 2 oz lime juice freshly squeezed
  • 2 oz triple sec orange liqueur
  • 1 tbsp agave syrup or honey optional, for sweetness; adjust to taste (1-2 tbsp recommended)

Instructions

  • Step 1: Combine everything in your blender. Add your frozen peach slices, followed by the ice, silver tequila, fresh lime juice, triple sec, and your optional agave syrup or honey. Ensure all ingredients fit comfortably.
  • Step 2: Blend until smooth and slushy. Secure the lid and blend on high speed. You may need to stop and scrape down the sides or use a tamper to ensure all peach chunks are fully incorporated, achieving a beautiful, uniform slushy consistency that is thick, cold, and irresistible.
  • Step 3: Prepare your glasses (optional). Grab a lime wedge and run it around the rim of each glass. Dip the moistened rim into a shallow plate of salt (for a classic margarita) or sugar (for a sweeter edge). A sugar rim is lovely with peach margaritas!
  • Step 4: Pour and admire. Carefully pour your perfectly blended frozen peach margarita into the prepared glasses.
  • Step 5: Garnish (optional). A fresh peach slice perched on the rim or a small sprig of mint makes these drinks look extra special.
  • Step 6: Serve immediately. These beauties are best enjoyed right away while they're still perfectly frosty. Cheers!

Notes

For the best results, use fresh lime juice and a powerful blender. Adjust sweetness to your preference, as peaches vary. Avoid over-blending, which can warm the mixture and reduce its slushy texture. If you have time, chill your serving glasses in the freezer for 10-15 minutes to help keep the margaritas colder longer. Leftovers can be poured into an airtight container and frozen, then thawed slightly and re-blended with a tiny splash of extra lime juice or water to regain a smooth consistency.
