  • 12 slices mozzarella cheese
  • 6 oz pepperoni

Now, give it a good mix until everything is super smooth and well combined. This is what's going to give your grilled cheese that irresistible golden, savory crust – it's truly a game-changer!
  • Step 2: Take your wonderfully fragrant butter mixture and spread it evenly over one side of each slice of bread. Don't be shy; aim for full coverage! Lay these buttered slices, butter-side up, on a sheet tray. This makes them easy to grab for the next step.
  • Step 3: Heat up your skillet over medium-low heat. This low-and-slow approach is key to getting that perfect crisp without burning your bread before the cheese melts. Once warm, place one slice of your buttered bread into the skillet, butter-side down. Now for the layers of cheesy goodness! Top it with one slice of mozzarella, then layer on 6 slices of pepperoni.
