Substitute peaches with drained canned or frozen peaches, or other fruits like apples, berries, or pears. Add a pinch of nutmeg, cardamom, or ginger to the peach mixture for extra warmth. Use the cream cheese frosting that comes with the cinnamon rolls, or a homemade glaze. Sprinkle chopped nuts (pecans or walnuts) over the peach filling before rolling. Don't over-cook the peaches in the pan. Cool the filling slightly before adding to the dough. Use a sharp or serrated knife for clean cuts. To prep ahead, make the peach filling a day early or assemble the rolls and refrigerate overnight (add baking time if baking from cold).
