Equipment

  • Large mixing bowl
  • Electric mixer or whisk
  • Spatula
  • Pie dish

Ingredients

  • 1 (9-inch) graham cracker crust store-bought or homemade
  • 1 package cream cheese 8 ounce, softened
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tub whipped topping 8 ounce, thawed (like Cool Whip)
  • 1 cup chopped Snickers bars about 3-4 standard size bars, plus extra for garnish
  • chocolate syrup or caramel sauce optional, for topping

Instructions

  • Step 1: Get the base going: Grab a large mixing bowl. Make sure your cream cheese is really soft – you should be able to easily press into it. Add the softened cream cheese, your cup of creamy peanut butter, and the powdered sugar.
  • Step 2: Mix until smooth: Using an electric mixer (or just a good old whisk and some elbow grease!), beat these ingredients together until everything is completely smooth and fluffy. Scrape down the sides of the bowl to make sure it's all incorporated. You don't want any lumps!
  • Step 3: Add the fluff: Gently, oh so gently, fold in the thawed whipped topping. Use a spatula and use an under-and-over motion until there are no more streaks of white. Don't beat it or mix vigorously, or you'll lose that lovely airy texture!
  • Step 4: Stir in the good stuff: Now, fold in your chopped Snickers bars. Make sure they're spread out evenly throughout the mixture so every bite has candy bar goodness.
  • Step 5: Fill the crust: Spoon the fluffy filling into your prepared graham cracker crust. Use a spatula to spread it out smoothly and evenly to the edges.
  • Step 6: Chill out: Pop the pie into the refrigerator. It needs at least 4 hours to set up properly, but overnight is even better if you have the time. This is the hardest part – waiting!
  • Step 7: Garnish and serve: Once the pie is set, take it out of the fridge. Before slicing, sprinkle some extra chopped Snickers over the top. If you like, drizzle with a little chocolate syrup or caramel sauce for that extra touch of indulgence. Slice and enjoy!

Notes

For the best pie ever, ensure cream cheese is very soft (microwave briefly at 50% power if needed, 15-30 seconds). Thaw whipped topping properly in the fridge, not microwave. Fold, don't beat, when adding whipped topping and Snickers to maintain lightness. The 4-hour chill time is essential for setting. You can make the filling a day in advance and chill it, then add to the crust before the final chill. Store leftovers covered in the fridge for 3-4 days or freeze for 1-2 months (texture may change slightly upon thawing).
