Instructions
Step 1:
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking pan.
Step 2:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the lemon cake mix, 7UP, vegetable oil, eggs, and lemon instant pudding mix. Mix until well blended.
Step 3:
Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
Step 4:
Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Step 5:
While the cake is baking, prepare the glaze by mixing powdered sugar, lemon juice, and milk in a small bowl until smooth.
Step 6:
Once the cake is done, remove it from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Then, transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Step 7:
Drizzle the glaze over the cooled cake before serving.
Notes
For a richer flavor, you can add lemon zest to the batter. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
