Equipment

  • small saucepan
  • Large Pitcher
  • Spoon

Ingredients

  • Fresh Lemon Juice from about 6-8 good-sized lemons
  • 1 cup Sugar for simple syrup
  • 5 cups Water divided, 1 cup for simple syrup, 4 cups cold for mixing
  • ½ cup Blue Raspberry Syrup
  • Blue Food Coloring optional
  • Fresh Raspberries for garnish
  • Lemon Slices for garnish

Instructions

  • Step 1: Make the Simple Syrup: Grab a small saucepan and combine your sugar and 1 cup of water. Pop it on the stove over medium heat. Stir, stir, stir! You just need to heat it until all the sugar crystals disappear. Once it's clear, take it off the heat and let it cool down completely. This step is key to making sure your lemonade isn't grainy.
  • Step 2: Mix the Lemonade Base: Find a big pitcher – like, a really big one! Pour in your freshly squeezed lemon juice. Add the simple syrup you just made (make sure it's cooled!). Now, pour in the ½ cup of blue raspberry syrup and 4 cups of cold water. Give it a really good stir with a long spoon to make sure everything is happy and combined.
  • Step 3: Adjust the Color (if you like!): If you want that electric blue look, now's the time to add a tiny drop of blue food coloring. Seriously, start small! You can always add more until you get your perfect shade of blue.
  • Step 4: Taste and Adjust: This is important! Grab a spoon and take a little sip. Is it sweet enough for you? Too tart? If it needs more sweetness, stir in a little more sugar or simple syrup. If it's too strong or sweet, add a splash more cold water. Make it your perfect lemonade!
  • Step 5: Chill Out: Pop the whole pitcher in the fridge. It tastes best when it's really cold, so let it chill for at least 30 minutes. An hour is even better if you have the time!
  • Step 6: Serve It Up: Fill your glasses with ice. Pour the beautiful blue lemonade over the ice. Add a few fresh raspberries and a lemon slice to each glass for garnish. Sip and enjoy that refreshing, sweet-tart goodness!

Notes

Use fresh lemons for best flavor and cool the simple syrup completely. Adjust sweetness and tartness to your liking before chilling. The lemonade can be made ahead and stored in the refrigerator for 5-7 days; stir before serving.
