Ingredients
  

For the Easter Popcorn Balls

  • 8 cups popped popcorn remove unpopped kernels
  • 6 Peeps marshmallows diced
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 10 oz mini marshmallows
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • sprinkles, edible glitter, or candy pieces optional for decorating

Instructions
 

  • Step 1: Place the popped popcorn in a large mixing bowl and remove any unpopped kernels.
  • Step 2: Dice the Peeps marshmallows into small pieces.
  • Step 3: In a medium saucepan over medium-low heat, melt the butter.
  • Step 4: Add the mini marshmallows and diced Peeps, stirring constantly until completely melted and smooth.
  • Step 5: Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
  • Step 6: Pour the melted marshmallow mixture over the popcorn and gently toss until the popcorn is evenly coated.
  • Step 7: Lightly grease your hands and shape the coated popcorn into balls about 3–4 inches wide.
  • Step 8: Roll or decorate the popcorn balls with sprinkles, edible glitter, or candy pieces if desired.
  • Step 9: Place the popcorn balls on parchment paper and let them cool for 15–20 minutes until set.
  • Step 10: Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days.

Notes

Work quickly while shaping the popcorn balls so the marshmallow mixture doesn’t cool and harden. Lightly greasing your hands with butter or cooking spray makes the process much easier.
