Equipment

  • Mixing bowl
  • Whisk
  • 12-inch pizza pan or round baking sheet
  • Spatula or knife
  • Microwave or double boiler

Ingredients

For the Brownie Base

  • 2 oz unsweetened chocolate melted
  • cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • ¾ cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ tsp salt

For the Toppings

  • ½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup assorted candy bars (peanut butter cups, Snickers, 3 Musketeers), chopped
  • ¼ cup Reese's Pieces or M&M's
  • 2 tbsp peanut butter warmed for drizzling

Instructions

  • Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 12-inch pizza pan or a round baking sheet.
  • Step 2: In a mixing bowl, whisk together the melted unsweetened chocolate, vegetable oil, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  • Step 3: Beat in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  • Step 4: Gently fold in the all-purpose flour and salt until just combined. Do not overmix.
  • Step 5: Spread the brownie batter evenly in your prepared pan, reaching the edges.
  • Step 6: Bake for about 18-22 minutes, or until the edges are set but the center still looks a little soft and slightly underbaked.
  • Step 7: As soon as it comes out of the oven, sprinkle the semi-sweet chocolate chips evenly over the top. Let them sit for about 2 minutes to soften from the heat.
  • Step 8: Use a spatula or knife to gently spread the melted chocolate smoothly over the entire surface of the brownie base.
  • Step 9: Generously press the chopped candy bars and Reese's Pieces (or M&M's) firmly into the warm melted chocolate layer.
  • Step 10: Warm the peanut butter slightly (microwave for 15-30 seconds) and drizzle it all over the top of your candy-covered pizza.
  • Step 11: Allow the pizza to cool completely (1-2 hours) before slicing it into wedges. This allows the brownie and toppings to set for cleaner slices.

Notes

Tips for Success: Don't overmix the brownie batter for fudgier results. Watch the baking time closely; the center should look moist and slightly soft. Add chocolate chips to the brownie while it's still hot from the oven. Let it cool completely for clean slices (you can refrigerate it to speed this up).
Substitutions & Additions: Use milk or dark chocolate chips instead of semi-sweet. Swap candy bars or add others like Kit Kats, Rolo, or Heath bars. Sprinkle chopped peanuts or pretzels for crunch. Add a drizzle of warm caramel sauce. Use a box brownie mix for a shortcut (bake according to package in the pizza pan, then add toppings). If peanut butter is too stiff, microwave briefly to make it drippy.
Storage: Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for 2-3 days or in the refrigerator for 4-5 days. You can freeze individual slices wrapped tightly in plastic wrap and placed in a freezer-safe bag for up to 2 months; thaw at room temperature.
