Instructions
Step 1:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking dish.
Step 2:
In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, melted butter, and egg. Mix until just combined.
Step 3:
Press the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
Step 4:
In a separate bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
Step 5:
Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Step 6:
Stir in the melted butter, powdered sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla extract until smooth.
Step 7:
Pour the creamy filling evenly over the prepared crust.
Step 8:
(Optional) Combine granulated sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle over filling.
Step 9:
Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until edges are set and center is slightly jiggly.
Step 10:
Let cool completely before cutting.
Notes
Feel free to experiment! You could add chopped nuts, use brown sugar, or add a swirl of caramel sauce.
