Ingredients
  

Crust

  • 1 box yellow cake mix (15.25 ounces)
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 large egg

Filling

  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 3.75 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Cinnamon Sugar Topping (optional)

  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions
 

  • Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Step 2: In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, melted butter, and egg. Mix until just combined.
  • Step 3: Press the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
  • Step 4: In a separate bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
  • Step 5: Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  • Step 6: Stir in the melted butter, powdered sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Step 7: Pour the creamy filling evenly over the prepared crust.
  • Step 8: (Optional) Combine granulated sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle over filling.
  • Step 9: Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until edges are set and center is slightly jiggly.
  • Step 10: Let cool completely before cutting.

Notes

Feel free to experiment! You could add chopped nuts, use brown sugar, or add a swirl of caramel sauce.
