Ingredients

For the Boozy Egg Jello Shots

  • 1 cup water this is the base for your jello shots.
  • 1 cup vodka or your favorite spirit
  • 1 cup flavored gelatin e.g., strawberry, lime, or blue raspberry
  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk this adds a creamy texture.
  • 12 large eggs you'll use the shells to make these shots

Optional Ingredients

  • food coloring for vibrant colors
  • whipped cream for garnish

Instructions

  • Step 1: Carefully crack the top of each egg and empty the contents into a bowl. Rinse the empty egg shells under warm water and set them aside to dry.
  • Step 2: In a saucepan, bring 1 cup of water to a boil. Remove from heat and stir in the flavored gelatin until completely dissolved. Add 1 cup of vodka and stir well. If desired, add food coloring.
  • Step 3: In a separate bowl, mix the sweetened condensed milk until smooth. Gently fold the gelatin mixture into the condensed milk until well combined.
  • Step 4: Using a funnel or a pipette, carefully fill each empty egg shell with the jello mixture, leaving a little space at the top to avoid overflow.
  • Step 5: Place the filled egg shells in an egg carton or holder to keep them upright. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until the jello is fully set.
  • Step 6: Once set, carefully peel away the egg shell from the jello shot. Garnish with whipped cream if desired and serve chilled.

Notes

These jello shots are best enjoyed fresh, but you can store them in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. Just be sure to keep them covered.
