Instructions
Step 1: Carefully crack the top of each egg and empty the contents into a bowl. Rinse the empty egg shells under warm water and set them aside to dry.
Step 2: In a saucepan, bring 1 cup of water to a boil. Remove from heat and stir in the flavored gelatin until completely dissolved. Add 1 cup of vodka and stir well. If desired, add food coloring.
Step 3: In a separate bowl, mix the sweetened condensed milk until smooth. Gently fold the gelatin mixture into the condensed milk until well combined.
Step 4: Using a funnel or a pipette, carefully fill each empty egg shell with the jello mixture, leaving a little space at the top to avoid overflow.
Step 5: Place the filled egg shells in an egg carton or holder to keep them upright. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until the jello is fully set.
Step 6: Once set, carefully peel away the egg shell from the jello shot. Garnish with whipped cream if desired and serve chilled.
